hawaiian pork bowl

ingredients

  • ½ lbs. of Carved Ham
  • Three 1/2-inch-thick slices of fresh pineapple—peeled, quartered and cored
  • ¼ lbs. red onion, cut through the core into 1/4-inch wedges
  • 1 pinch Kosher salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons minced cilantro, plus sprigs for serving,
  • 1 cup of Steamed rice
  • 1 slice of crisp bacon
  • ½ diced avocado
  • 1 tbsp. thinly sliced jalapeño, for serving

directions

  1. Grill the three slices of pineapple, the red onions and Dietz & Watson Carved Ham.
  2. Arrange rice, sliced avocado, grilled red onions, pineapple and Dietz & Watson Carved Ham in a bowl.
  3. Top with minced cilantro, jalapeño and crisp bacon. Drizzle with fresh lime juice just before serving.
  4. Enjoy!
