Ingredients

  • 2 Dietz & Watson Deli Beef Franks
  • 4 oz Dietz & Watson Champagne Dill Mustard
  • 2 Hot Dog Buns, top sliced
  • NYC Style Onion Sauce
  • 1 Medium White Onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1/8 cup Ketchup
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • Pinch Salt
  • Pinch Cinnamon

Directions

  1. 1 Preheat grill to medium high heat. Cook Dietz & Watson Franks until golden brown (3-4 minutes)
  2. 2 For NYC Style Onion Sauce:
  3. 3 In a small sauce pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add onions, and sauté until soft.
  4. 4 Quickly add ketchup and water
  5. 5 Stir for at least 20 minutes (or until water is reduced to about half)
  6. 6 Add pinch of salt and cinnamon, stir
  7. 7 Place Dietz & Watson Franks in a hot dog bun. Top with NY Style Onion Sauce and Champagne Dill Mustard
